Job description

Waters Edge Winery & Bistro is looking for a detail-oriented, fast-paced, and highly organized Expo (Expeditor) to help bridge the gap between our kitchen and front-of-house teams. As an Expo, you will play a critical role in ensuring every dish leaves the kitchen accurately, beautifully presented, and in a timely manner, helping us deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities
Coordinate communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Verify all food orders are complete, accurate, and presented to Waters Edge standards before leaving the kitchen.
Organize tickets and prioritize orders to ensure efficient service flow.
Ensure proper garnishes, sauces, and accompaniments are included with every dish.
Communicate modifications, allergies, and special requests clearly to the kitchen team.
Assist with quality control and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient expo station.
Support servers and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
Help ensure food is delivered promptly to guests.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
