Waterpark Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a 1st Shift Waterpark Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will provide waterpark maintenance necessary to achieve stated objectives for ride maintenance, ride checks, repairs, costs, guest service satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll ensure all attractions and facilities are safe, clean, and fully operational for a seamless and enjoyable visit for our guests. You'll promptly address maintenance issues to the associates to create a safe work environment that will help operations run smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that all waterpark rides are inspected daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the ride manufacturer's preventative maintenance programs.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, and county and municipal regulations that pertain to rides safety, inspections, and yearly inspection with all authorities.
  • Ensure waterpark is maintained so that guests are not inconvenienced because of repairs.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of all pools for both indoor and outdoor waterparks.

What We're Looking For
  • Knowledge of waterpark maintenance and its day-to-day functions within a resort is helpful.
  • Knowledge of air conditioning/heating systems, plumbing, building and all facility maintenance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of leisure activities/commercial recreation in a "for profit" setting is preferred.
