This Engineer (PE) - Water Resources opening is great if you are looking to take on more of a project manager role or if you're an experienced Water Resources Engineer looking to find a better fit. No matter your experience level, you will have a great team of Water Resources Engineers to help you advance your skills.
Job Description
  • Prepare studies, reports, and design documents to support plans and specifications for civil and water resources projects and watershed planning efforts.
  • Prepare hydrologic and hydrology models.
  • Complete engineering analyses and calculations.
  • Prepare outline of engineering services, scope of work, and associated budgets.
  • Develop solutions for various types of Water Resource projects.
  • Perform project management duties.
  • Assist in client contact and communications.

Our water resources engineers work on a variety of exciting projects including water quality practices, flood storage basins, lake outlets, stream restoration, agricultural drainage systems, stormwater resiliency planning, and many other projects related to Water Resources Engineering.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the civil and water resources engineering areas.
  • MN Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain the license within 6 months.
  • Basic understanding of water resources and associated regulations in Minnesota.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid critical thinking skills, along with attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude under pressure, strong team player, responsible, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing with availability for periodic travel.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
