This vast list of project experience includes services for virtually every type of public and private client associated with industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects.
Our interdisciplinary water resources group includes experienced personnel in surface water hydraulics and hydrology (H&H), water quality, geographical information mapping, watershed management plans, stormwater management, hydrogeology, groundwater hydrology, water supply development, groundwater modeling, environmental impact assessments, and CUP and ERP permitting from our headquarters office in Orlando.

WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER
Ardaman is seeking a Water Resources Engineer for a full-time position in our Orlando, FL office. We are specifically looking for a candidate who specializes in water numerical modeling, including surface water, groundwater, and water quality. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of water resources engineering projects within a challenging and collaborative team environment, supporting large and medium-scale H&H engineering projects.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform technical work on a variety of water resources engineering projects.
  • Develop, apply, and evaluate water numerical models for surface water and water quality analyses.
  • Contribute to large and medium-scale H&H engineering projects.
  • Perform watershed studies, stormwater analyses and retrofits, drainage design, permitting, and related tasks.
  • Work independently while contributing effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Required Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering with a Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering.
  • Strong technical skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five years of non-academic experience after graduation working on water resources engineering projects under the supervision of a professional engineer.
  • Experience completing watershed studies, stormwater analyses and retrofits, drainage design, permitting, and related work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD, ICPR 4/Stormwise, HEC-RAS, or equivalent software.
  • Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) license.
  • Familiarity with ArcHydro, GWIS, SWMM, MIKE SHE, PONDS, HEC-HMS, Modret, HY-8, StormCAD, WaterCAD, CulvertMaster, and FlowMaster.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, with frequent computer use and verbal communication.

Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
  • Office based work environment with occasional field work.
  • In-office presence is required Monday through Friday during posted business hours. Occasional extended hours and weekends may be required to meet business needs.
