Machine Operator I

Department: Operations

Type: Full-time

Reports To: Production Supervisor

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Machine Operator I, you'll play an important role in producing high-quality precision metal components while supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in manufacturing. You'll learn to operate a variety of production equipment, monitor quality, and work alongside an experienced team to ensure customer expectations are met.

A Day in the Life:

  • Operate a variety of production machines, including countersink, ream, tap, deburr, tumble, oil, wash, flattener, and shaker equipment
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality and specification requirements
  • Notify your supervisor immediately if production or quality issues arise
  • Perform visual inspections to verify finished parts meet customer specifications
  • Keep machines and work areas clean and organized after each completed operation
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing best practices
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to meet production schedules and customer deadlines
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
