Job Summary

The Manufacturing Machine Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment and machinery in a manufacturing facility. This role ensures machines operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain manufacturing equipment, tools, and work areas

  • Remove debris, grease, and build-up from machinery using appropriate cleaning agents and tools

  • Disassemble and reassemble machine parts safely for deep cleaning when required

  • Follow cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations

  • Identify and report equipment issues, wear, or damage to maintenance or supervisors

  • Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment

  • Maintain records of cleaning activities and completed tasks

  • Assist production or maintenance teams when needed

Required Skills & Qualifications
