PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods .
SUMMARY:
The Washroom Operator is responsible for supporting production operations by ensuring all tooling, uniforms, and cleaning supplies are properly maintained, cleaned, and distributed in a timely manner. This role follows all company policies and directions from the Washroom Supervisor to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Working Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be able to follow written instructions
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Basic math skills

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for adhering to company rules and the direction given by the Washroom Supervisor
  • Prepares tooling for upcoming orders and place it in a clean cart with a Slat Set-Up Sheet
  • Washes all dirty tooling which was returned from the lines that are not needed and assists in those which are urgent
  • Distributes detergents and alcohol to the lines
  • Distributes lab coats and/or uniforms to employees
  • Ensures the washroom and uniform room is always well maintained, clean and clutter-free throughout the day
  • Distributes ear plugs and plastic bags to the production lines
  • Documents the distribution and cleaning of tooling along with the mixture and distribution of detergents and alcohol

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, pushing and pulling, stooping and crouching and climbing. Occasional lifting of equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Incumbents May be exposed to hazardous materials, gases, electrical components, and equipment. Safety protocols and protective gear are provided.
Hourly Rate starting at $18.00/hr
