Job purpose
The Wargaming Subject Matter Expert will support staff to ensure that the Wargaming events will be executed in a professional and effective manner.
Duties and responsibilities
  • The Wargaming SME will advise on specific domains within wargaming in order to assist and assess the specific aspects of a wargame and its outcomes.
  • Assist students in assessing logistics, energy, and regional expertise.
  • Facilitate specific wargame analysis, scenario development, and wargame preparation.
  • Support wargame events by participating in wargame planning and preparation.
  • Attend wargame events and provide Subject Matter Expertise to students and staff where necessary.
  • Participate in After Action Reports to submit to appropriate government leads.

Qualifications
  • The Wargaming SME will possess senior grade experience (15-25 years) of industry knowledge
  • Additional fields of expertise commensurate with this education and experience level apply across all academic and commercial industry disciplines, such as energy, human terrain, regional political-military expertise, international banking and finance, or global shipping.

Education
  • The Wargaming SME shall at a minimum possess a bachelor's degree.
  • A master's degree in military wargaming, Red Cell, White Cell, Green Cell planners as well as functional experts in Cyber, or Space and Communications is preferred.
