Job description

Position Title: Superintendent
*Located in (Central Valley, Sacramento, Bay Area)
Are you an experienced Superintendent who thrives on leading complex commercial and industrial construction projects from the ground up? Join one of the nation's most respected commercial builders as a Superintendent overseeing a $70 million, 1.1 million-square-foot industrial warehouse project in Northern California. This role is responsible for leading field operations, driving safety, maintaining schedule and quality, coordinating subcontractors, and partnering closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who communicates clearly, takes ownership, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and is excited by long-term career growth with a stable national contractor. Based on the latest job order, the position will begin on this project, but candidates must be willing to travel to future projects once construction is complete.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $165,000/ Year + Annual bonus DOE
Superintendent Responsibilities:
  • Manage safety, quality, schedule, production, logistics, and coordination
  • Represent the company in meetings and interface with all project stakeholders
  • Coordinate and direct all subcontractors and vendors
  • Work with the project team to establish goals and develop accountability
  • Assume responsibility for the productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project
  • Oversee subcontractors throughout all phases of construction
  • Troubleshoot field issues and resolve project challenges quickly
  • Support the Project Manager to maintain project documentation, schedules, and overall project execution
  • Ensure the project remains on schedule and within established milestones

Superintendent Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience as a Superintendent
  • Commercial General Contractor experience required
  • Industrial construction experience required
  • Tilt-wall or tilt-panel construction experience is highly preferred
  • Experience managing projects valued at $30M-$40M
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and construction management technology
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Central Valley, Sacramento, and Bay Area as project assignments require
