Job description

Warehouse Associate 
Schedule: 7am/9am - 5:30pm (M-F Sat/OT) 
Pay: $18/hr 
Location: Santa Cruz, CA

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing tasks associated with receiving and distribution of vitamins and supplements.

Specific Job Duties:
  • Filling customer orders.
  • Packaging customer orders.
  • Receiving inbound orders.
  • Replenishment, shipping audits, loading trailers.
  • Inventory cycle counting, process customer returns & return to stock.
  • Proper rotation of products (FIFO).
  • Verify quantities, lots, and expiration dates.
  • Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, problem solving ability and a positive professional attitude.
  • Ability to work under direction of Shipping & Receiving Coordinators, Supervisors and Managers in a manner consistent with company's expectations, goals and vision.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times to include moving pallets, sweeping, disposing of debris, as well as handling all products with the utmost care.
  • Perform facility maintenance tasks and warehouse project related activities as assigned.
  • Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
  • Entry Level
  • Report on time and ready for work at the scheduled start time and work overtime as required.
  • Ability to operate power equipment preferred, forklift, pallet jack, order picker.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs.
  • Must be able to work standing, bending, reaching continuously for up to 10 hours.
  • Must be able to walk up and down stairs or ladders frequently during work shift.
Skills and/or Training (Desired):
  • Basic math skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Able to accurately complete productivity and quality tracking documents.
  • Maintain established productivity, accuracy, quality, and safety standards at all times.
  • Handheld RF Scan device experience is preferred but not required.
