About the Role:

The Procurement Manager is a newly created, high-impact role at eko's Capture Factory in Bentonville, Arkansas. This is a program ownership role, not a people management role. You'll be the person who makes procurement run at Eko.

You'll own the end-to-end procurement process for the factory, partnering with our Merchandising team to execute on sourcing strategy and ensuring the right products arrive at the right time to keep our stages moving. You'll also help build the systems and processes that scale with our growth, and as you establish yourself in the role, you'll have the opportunity to take on a broader procurement scope across the factory.

The right person is organized, systems-minded, and energized by owning a function rather than just executing tasks.

What you will do:

  • Own the end-to-end procurement process for the factory, ensuring products are sourced, purchased, and delivered on schedule to support production needs
  • Partner with the Merchandising team to execute on sourcing strategy and align purchasing activity with category priorities and timelines
  • Identify and drive tool optimization opportunities and support partner negotiations to improve cost and efficiency
  • Monitor schedule adherence and flag risks or delays before they impact production
  • Support integration of procurement activity with item management systems to maintain accurate, real-time visibility
  • Track spend, maintain accurate records, and support reporting across all procurement activity
  • Build, refine, and document procurement processes, tools, and workflows as the function continues to grow
  • Partner closely with Finance, production, and warehouse teams to keep purchasing aligned with operational needs
  • Take on expanded procurement scope across the broader business over time as you grow into the role

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying operations within high-SKU operations in a retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of transactions simultaneously across multiple vendors or platforms
  • Strong systems thinking; you build processes, not just complete tasks
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and order management or spend tracking toolsย
  • Comfort learning and operating new technology platforms quickly
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear, proactive communicator with cross-functional partners
  • Experience working alongside a merchandising, buying, or category management team is a plus
  • Familiarity with item management systems or procurement platforms is a plus
  • Exposure to production, manufacturing, or high-volume operations environments is a plus
  • Experience managing procurement scope across multiple categories is a plus

Work Environment:

  • This position operates primarily within a factory setting
  • The noise level can range from low to moderate
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles (e.g. forklifts, trucks)

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of something groundbreaking. This is an unparalleled opportunity to assist in building the people function for a cutting-edge robotics studio at the forefront of innovation.
  • Hyper-growth environment. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping a company that is scaling at an exceptional pace.

Benefits

  • Premium health, dental and vision insurance
  • Insurance options with 100% employer-covered medical and dental premiums for employee-only plans.
  • Mental Health and Wellness Resources
  • 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
  • Company Paid Life and Disability Insurance
  • Flexible Time Off
  • Daily Shift Meal Provided

Note: The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above. They may be subject to change at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
