Biggs HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical is looking for an experienced HVAC Warehouse & Procurement Manager to lead warehouse operations, manage parts purchasing, and keep our service and installation teams stocked, organized, and ready for the day.

This is not a basic warehouse position. We are looking for someone with HVAC parts knowledge, procurement experience, strong organization skills, and the ability to manage the day-to-day flow of parts, equipment, materials, tools, and inventory for a busy home services company.

Biggs HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical is a family-owned company serving the Raleigh Metro area since 1996. We are looking for someone who is organized, reliable, hands-on, and ready to take ownership of the warehouse and procurement process.

Responsibilities

The HVAC Warehouse & Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, purchasing, inventory, job staging, parts flow, and support for our field teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse
  • Manage daily deliveries and driver schedules, ensuring parts, equipment, tools, and materials are picked up, delivered, and staged accurately for service and installation teams
  • Purchase HVAC parts, materials, equipment, tools, and supplies as needed
  • Support HVAC first while also helping with plumbing, electrical, and other warehouse materials
  • Work with vendors, supply houses, and manufacturer portals to source parts and compare pricing
  • Receive deliveries, verify orders, and ensure materials are properly checked in and stored
  • Manage inventory counts, stock levels, and warehouse organization
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets and records for parts, supplies, tools, equipment, and inventory
  • Pull and stage materials for service calls, installations, and scheduled jobs
  • Manage truck stock and help ensure technicians have the parts and materials they need
  • Handle warranty parts, returns, credits, and vendor follow-up
  • Manage tool checkout, equipment tracking, and warehouse supplies
  • Coordinate parts runs and supply house pickups as needed
  • Drive a Biggs company vehicle for parts pickups, supply house runs, and warehouse-related needs
  • Manage helpers, runners, and parts drivers
  • Communicate clearly with service, install, warehouse, and management teams
  • Help improve warehouse systems, inventory accuracy, purchasing processes, and overall efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Warehouse or inventory management experience
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC parts, materials, tools, and equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, load and unload equipment, and work on your feet
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel, spreadsheets, vendor portals, and inventory-related systems
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with technicians, installers, vendors, and management

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of HVAC parts or HVAC procurement experience
  • Existing relationships with HVAC vendors or supply houses
  • Experience supporting HVAC service technicians and installation crews
  • Forklift experience
  • Experience with Service Fusion or other inventory software
  • Experience with purchasing, inventory tracking, job staging, truck stock, warranty parts, and returns
  • Experience in a residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home services company
