Job Description
  • Communicate daily loading schedules, priorities, and updates to warehouse loaders.
  • Coordinate split loads and picking requirements with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Identify and communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies, providing solutions to minimize shipping delays.
  • Support the loading team by resolving operational issues and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the shift.
  • Check in drivers upon arrival and verify appointment and shipment information.
  • Prepare and distribute all required shipping and loading documentation, including bills of lading and related paperwork.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and transportation teams to ensure accurate and timely outbound shipments.
  • Monitor loading progress and adjust priorities as needed to meet customer delivery schedules.
  • Maintain clear communication across departments to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant shipping operations.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of warehouse logistics & planning experience
  • Knowledge of the warehouse operations and procedures
  • Forklift license (front, retractable, side loader a plus) w/2+ yrs of recent forklift experience
  • Product knowledge - metal experience preferred
  • SAP transactions to track deliveries/shipments
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to calculate floor space in feet and weight distribution on the truck
  • Downloading and recording picking photos
