Automation Personnel Services is hiring a detail-oriented and organized Shipping/Receiving Coordinator for a growing company in Dalton, GA. Shipping/Receiving Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations including transportation, inventory, and shipping for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Manage and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams (manufacturing, procurement, and planning) to streamline supply chain processes.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, identifying shortages or delays, and taking proactive steps to resolve them.
- Prepare shipping documents, reports, and records in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Resolve logistical challenges quickly and efficiently, keeping all stakeholders informed.
Shipping/ Receiving Coordinator Qualifications and RequirementsÂ
- At least 1 year of experience in general affairs or a similar facility coordinator role.
- Oversee forklift operator activities, including maintaining daily sign-off sheets, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and coordinating break schedules.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management software, and shipping platforms.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,Â
