Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary:
The (USA) Staff, Product Manager leads the strategy and execution for the AI Evaluation & Learning platform that enables trusted AI across Walmart Merchandising. This role owns the products that help teams evaluate AI quality, collect user feedback, provide auditability and observability, and continuously improve AI performance at scale. The position will partner with engineering, data science, and product teams to define common evaluation standards, build reusable platform capabilities, and drive adoption across AI-powered products. This is a unique opportunity to establish the foundation for how enterprise AI systems are measured, monitored, and continuously improved.
About the team:
Our team develops an AI-native merchandising platform that empowers the merchandising organization by building shared services to govern and scale applications efficiently. Leveraging advanced technologies and data-driven insights, the team enhances product strategy and roadmap management. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, members drive innovation and operational excellence to deliver scalable solutions. The team applies strong project and stakeholder management skills to navigate complex challenges and ensure alignment with business goals. Continuous improvement and strategic thinking are central to maximizing impact across the merchandising domain.
What you'll do:
  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AI Evaluation & Learning platform, enabling trusted AI across Walmart Merchandising.
  • Build reusable platform capabilities for AI evaluation, user feedback, auditability, observability, and continuous learning.
  • Establish common evaluation standards for AI-powered products and partner with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of the AI Evaluation & Learning platform.
  • Define success metrics and use data to continuously improve AI quality, reliability, and user trust.
  • Mentor product managers and champion best practices for building and measuring AI products.

  • Proven experience defining product strategy and leading execution for complex platform or AI-powered products.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience establishing product success metrics, evaluation frameworks, and data-driven feedback loops to continuously improve product quality.
