Position Summary...The Merchant-Shoes leads category strategy development and execution for the Men's Occupational Footwear category, driving financial performance and customer-centric decisions across channels. This role manages supplier relationships, pricing, promotions, and assortment planning while leveraging data insights to optimize inventory and product lifecycle management. The individual in this role also oversees team performance, supports budgeting and forecasting, and ensures alignment with business objectives. By fostering collaboration and operational excellence, this position contributes to delivering value and enhancing the customer experience through strategic initiatives and effective category management.What you'll do...
  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with long-term business objectives and market trends.
  • Manage profit and loss, pricing, promotions, and inventory decisions to meet financial targets.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, establish performance metrics, and oversee supplier relationships.
  • Drive assortment planning, modular layouts, and product lifecycle management to optimize category performance.
  • Utilize data analysis and digital tools to inform decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and develop team members, fostering performance, engagement, and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance customer experience across all channels and touchpoints.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
