Job description

I am building my team of recruiters and am in need of a Merchandising Recruiter, one that understands what makes a great merchant—not just retail experience, but strong analytical skills, customer obsession, supplier management, pricing strategy, and the ability to launch and scale product categories in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

My client is direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce retailer that sells premium-quality apparel, home goods, accessories, luggage, jewelry, and bedding at prices lower than traditional luxury brands.

What I am looking for:

  • Experience recruiting merchandising, buying, planning, category management, or retail leadership roles.
  • Background supporting consumer, retail, eCommerce, fashion, home goods, or DTC organizations.
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, and proactive outreach.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Recruiting for high-growth startups or scaling retail brands.
  • Hiring across merchandising, sourcing, product development, inventory planning, and supply chain.

You'll own full-cycle recruiting for merchandising functions while helping scale a rapidly growing organization. If this sounds like a match I'd love to share more information! We’ve built a boutique RPO where recruiters focus on what they do best—true embedded recruiting with hiring managers, owning full-cycle searches, and no sales quotas.

  • 6 month contract with potential to extend or convert to full time
  • Remote but local recruiters to Palo Alto and Hybrid are preferred
