Job Summary
In the role of Walmart Category Advisor at Masco Corporation, you will influence Walmart's business plans and foster growth by providing outstanding data analysis and strategic space planning insights. This position offers close collaboration with Walmart's Merchandising and Modular Planning Teams to impact product distribution, promotion, and pricing strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze Walmart business using data sources such as Scintilla, Retail Link, and syndicated POS data.

  • Develop analysis and solutions that improve product distribution, promotion, pricing, and contribute to the growth of Walmart's business.

  • Prepare clear and concise business reviews that deliver executable insights to Walmart.

  • Assist Walmart Merchandising Team in identifying consumer and market opportunities.

  • Own development and execution of the modular planning process with Walmart Modular Planning Team.

  • Apply JDA Prospace software to assist in developing Walmart modulars.

  • Analyze Walmart modulars and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Participate in buyer meetings including Modular Relay planning, consumer insights sharing, and Strategic Business Reviews.

  • Partner closely with retailers, actively participating in customer calls to align on insights and execution.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

  • 3-5 years of Walmart Category Management experience at a relevant CPG company.

  • Advanced-level JDA and proficient Microsoft Office user.

  • Strong analytics skills, problem solving, and storytelling experience.
