ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Sales Manager - Walmart, you will play a critical role in shaping the long-term growth strategy for SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands while driving profitable business results with one of our most important retail partners. Leading the omnichannel business across home care, air care, and laundry, you will champion a portfolio of beloved, purpose-driven brands, including method and Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day, bringing innovative products and sustainable solutions to millions of consumers. In this highly visible role, you will translate brand objectives into customer-focused growth strategies, strategic selling priorities, and execution plans that accelerate category growth, strengthen brand presence, and deliver impact at scale.

Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and strong relationship management. You will partner closely with Walmart merchants, the Walmart sales team, and cross-functional Lifestyle Brands teams to identify new opportunities, develop winning strategies, and drive flawless execution. Reporting to the Senior Director of Walmart/Sam's Club, this field-based role in the Bentonville, Arkansas area offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on iconic brands, influence key business decisions, and help shape the future growth of a portfolio that consumers know, trust, and love.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build, prioritize and manage multiple objectives, including top-line sales, distribution, trade spend, promotional effectiveness, shipment forecasting, merchandising and customer engagement.

  • Translate objectives for a portfolio of Lifestyle Brands into key priorities for strategic selling and execution at Walmart, while holding self and partners accountable for results.

  • Collaborate across the organization and externally with the customer to build credibility and trust across multiple layers of management.

  • Build rapid, strong relationships that elevate SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands influence and presence within Walmart's hierarchy.

  • Directly manage trade budget investment, assess plan effectiveness and make appropriate adjustments to improve business results. Provide planning guidance against omnichannel marketing support.

  • Deeply understand the strategic purpose of SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands and Walmart's strategies to bridge priorities and drive long-term profitable growth for both parties.

  • Serve as the voice of Walmart in end-to-end planning of new product launches and other business developments, and lead the forecasting process with Finance and Operations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in CPG sales, including 2+ years Account Management with Walmart or a major strategic retail customer and delivering strong results

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Walmart account management experience.

  • General management mindset with a proven ownership approach to the business and a track record of delivering consistent, positive business results.

  • Strategic thinker, proactive problem solver and detail-oriented tactician who can manage multiple priorities within tight timeframes and deadlines.

  • Curious and analytical mindset with the ability to independently assess data, integrate insights into selling stories and leverage syndicated data such as PowerBi, Circana and IRI/Nielsen to grow the business.

  • Ability to manage budgets and overall trade management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is Full-time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday

  • Field-sales based role; candidate will live in Bentonville, Arkansas or the surrounding area.

  • Ability to travel: locally in Bentonville and surrounding areas

  • Domestic travel ~10%

  • Relocation is not available for this opportunity
