This role oversees supplier negotiations, pricing, and promotional strategies while managing team performance and development. By leveraging data insights and collaborating cross-functionally, the Senior Merchant ensures alignment with business objectives and optimizes category profitability. The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational execution to support long-term growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences within a dynamic retail environment.

What you'll do:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to drive long-term business growth and profitability.
  • Manage profit and loss responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to meet targets.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, establish terms, and monitor performance to ensure optimal partnerships and pricing.
  • Oversee assortment planning, modular layouts, and item lifecycle management to align with customer needs and business goals.
  • Guide and develop team members through coaching, performance management, and career development initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align channel strategies and support omni-channel customer experiences.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decisions, optimize pricing, promotions, and inventory management.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
