POSITION SUMMARY

The Garden Center Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining the appearance, inventory, and presentation of Bethel Farms products within assigned retail locations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products are displayed attractively, stocked properly, and available for customers. This position will cover the Greater West Palm Beach area.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Merchandise and maintain Bethel Farms product displays.
  • Ensure products are watered, healthy, and presented according to company standards.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with store management and associates.
  • Submit reports, photos, and inventory information through company systems.
  • Set up promotional displays and seasonal merchandising programs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Rotate inventory and remove damaged or unsellable products.
  • Execute planograms and merchandising directives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe display area.
  • Represent Bethel Farms professionally at all times.



Requirements


REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work full time Tuesday to Saturday.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to stand, bend, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Ability to use a smartphone or mobile device for reporting and communication



PREFERRED

  • Experience in retail merchandising, garden centers, landscaping, agriculture, or horticulture.
  • Experience working with Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, or other retail environments.
  • Knowledge of plants, turfgrass, or outdoor products.
