As the Center Store Specialist, you will be the store’s point person for excellence across key center store categories including Dairy, Frozen, Bulk, Coffee, Candy, and Beer & Wine. You will ensure product freshness, pricing accuracy, and merchandising compliance while supporting inventory integrity and guest engagement. This role embodies passion, excellence, hospitality, and teamwork, delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining operational standards.

The pay range for this position is $18.19 - $19.40 per hour. 


  • Ensure all Center Store categories meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating and temperature compliance for dairy and frozen items.    
  • Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
  • Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of dairy, frozen, bulk, coffee, candy, beer and wine.  
  • Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.  
  • Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events. 
  • Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.  
  • Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas. 
  • Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor. 

This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.


At a minimum, what you’ll need: 

  • 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
  • Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.

Physical and Work Conditions:

  • Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself, and exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Required to spend long periods of time on their feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law).
  • Required to wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment.
