The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced VTC Technician (Level 2) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD
Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide variety of VTC equipment, including cameras, microphones, video displays, speakers, audio mixers, DVD players, video matrix switches, wires, and cables.
  • Conduct site surveys to design and install A/V systems based on customer requirements.
  • Perform routine operational tests and fault isolation on AV/VTC systems and equipment.
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections of AV/VTC equipment.
  • Empower users with knowledge and training on control, interfaces, and use of the audio/visual and VTC equipment.
  • Develop plans for re-engineering and replacing legacy systems to improve customer productivity, enhance maintainability, and reduce costs.
  • Ability to travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of UC operations.
  • Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs, crawl, and walk long distances.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
  • Thorough understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) VTC system requirements.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • 3 - 5 years of comprehensive experience with VTC A/V (Audio & Video) systems. Alternatively, 7+ years of experience in VTC A/V systems without a Bachelor's degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • Security+
  • ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioners Certificate
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility.

  • Demonstrate strong communication and multitasking skills.
