Job description

Position Summary

LCI is seeking an Information Technology Equipment & System Administration Support Specialist to provide oversight of information technology asset management (ITAM) accounts throughout various buildings. This position supports approximately 650+ users across NIPR and SIPR environments and requires strong experience in systems administration, IT asset accountability, help desk operations, and information assurance compliance.

Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid U.S. Government Secret security clearance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain NIPR and SIPR desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Maintain handheld devices (tablets, smartphones)
  • Configure and maintain peripherals (printers, scanners, monitors, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain physical and wireless network connectivity
  • Apply security updates to maintain compliance with DAF and local policies
  • Submit and track tickets using ServiceNow, CIPS, or designated ticketing systems
  • Meet defined response timelines for High, Medium, and Low priority tickets
  • Serve as IT Asset Manager (ITAM)
  • Track equipment from receipt through lifecycle sustainment
  • Label accountable assets per Air Force requirements
  • Conduct annual and directed inventories
  • Maintain inventory documentation and appointment letters
  • Decommission and process excess/obsolete assets within required timelines
  • Ensure drive sanitation per DAF standards
  • Maintain TACLANE devices and SIPR enclaves
  • Support VTC/SVTC setup and troubleshooting
  • Administer CES SharePoint site and manage permissions
  • Manage user accounts, network access, and permissions
  • Install only approved software and conduct annual software verification
  • Serve as MICT assessor and provide required inputs
  • Maintain IA compliance and support annual inspections

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in Information Technology (IT) or a related field
  • Experience supporting NIPR/SIPR environments
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
  • Strong understanding of IT asset accountability and inventory processes
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ (IAT Level II compliant per DoD 8140.03)

Skill & Certification Requirements

  • NIPR and/or SIPR environment: 3 years (Required)
  • IT Asset manager: 1 year (Required)
  • CompTIA Security+ (Required)
  • Security clearance: Secret (Required)
  • Work Location: In person
  • Position requires sitting, standing, kneeling for long periods of time, lifting more than 50 lbs, climbing on ladders, and working in dirty and noisy areas. (Heavy Work)
  • Proficient in troubleshooting techniques.
  • Able to perform CPR and safety observer duties if necessary.
