Job description

Inside Sales Representative

Lutron is seeking an innovative Inside Sales Representative to join the Luxury Inside Sales team at our Las Vegas NV office location. At Lutron, we put the customer first in everything we do. As a member of the Luxury Inside Sales Team, you will have the opportunity to strengthen customer partnerships through consultative sales support, relationship management, and exceptional customer experience.

In this role, you will manage relationships with residential trade customers, known as dealers. You will support these dealers throughout their journey with Lutron, from initial onboarding through ongoing account development. By understanding their businesses and goals, you will connect them with the products, trainings, tools, and resources needed to grow. This position also offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with local sales representatives and internal teams to provide coordinated support for each of these dealers.

Through immersive product training and cross-functional collaboration, you will build expertise in Lutron's luxury residential business and develop valuable account management skills. Lutron's luxury residential solutions create beautiful, intuitive experiences through lighting, intelligent shades, and powerful controls.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of residential trade accounts ("dealers") and serve as their primary inside sales contact at Lutron.
  • Build trusted relationships by learning each dealer's business, goals, capabilities, and growth opportunities.
  • Guide new dealers through onboarding, training, account setup, and key Lutron processes.
  • Help existing dealers strengthen their selling approach and expand their adoption of Lutron solutions.
  • Qualify incoming leads, connect them to the appropriate channel, and support follow-through toward conversion.
  • Take ownership of dealer questions and connect customers with the appropriate resources for timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate account activity, opportunities, cases, and follow-up information in Salesforce.
  • Develop strong knowledge of Lutron's lighting control, lighting, and shading solutions.

  • Build Trusted Partnerships: Develop meaningful relationships with residential trade accounts ("dealers") and become a reliable resource for their business.
  • Drive Account Growth: Help dealers identify opportunities, adopt additional solutions, and strengthen their partnership with Lutron.
  • Improve Customer Success: Provide clear guidance, responsive communication, and coordinated support to new and existing Lutron dealers.
  • Support Retention and Engagement: Maintain consistent contact with developing accounts and help re-engage dealers who may need additional support.
  • Strengthening Lutron's Market Leadership: Use your product knowledge, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities to reinforce Lutron's position as a trusted industry partner.
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree required; if less than 5 years of work experience, minimum cumulative 2.80 GPA is required
  • Must be located within commutable distance of Las Vegas NV to accommodate in-office schedule
  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to efficiently work in fast-paced environment while navigating multiple systems
