Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Predictive Maintenance Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:

Reporting to a Reliability Maintenance Supervisor, the Predictive Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following;

  • Collect and analyze data on all types of process equipment using predictive maintenance technologies
  • Perform Vibration Analysis, Oil analysis, Thermography, Ultrasonic, and additional NDE methods.
  • Create and maintain databases for each technology 
  • Generate and distribute condition and follow up reports to all levels of management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proven safety record required
  • Excellent attendance record required
  • Previous training and experience with application of predictive maintenance technologies and associated software and hardware preferred
  • Industrial maintenance skills equivalent to four (4) years as a journeyman preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of process equipment preferred
  • Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
  • Demonstrate ability to perform the essential function of the job required

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • CAT II or CAT III Vibration Analysis certification 
  • Infrared Thermography certification 
  • Ultrasound (UE) certification 
  • Oil Analysis certification 
  • Rotor balancing experience 
  • MT/PT certification 
  • RDI certification 
  • UT Level I or II certification 
  • Experience with SKF Aptitude Analyst, DBX, Microlog, or similar condition monitoring platforms.
  • Previous mining process plant experience preferred, including troubleshooting and inspection of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, agitators, and fans.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent CMMS software preferred
