This is a full time opportunity an all inclusive Benefits package
VTC operator but more for the VTC hardware/software SME with the following skill set:
-Proficiency with troubleshooting specific issues related to the following hardware:Crown CTs8200 amplifiers, ClearOne Converge 880T (DSP), Shure microphone systems transmitter, wireless microphone, and wired microphones.Extron systems, Cisco codecs, Cisco C90 touch panels, and AMX touch panels.
-Continued troubleshooting AMX control interfaces and adjusting programming with the audio processors and AMX systems.
-Testing systems to identify issues in real time, with the AMX system not tracking microphone statuses.Being able to troubleshoot ClearOne audio DSP (Digital Signal Processors), if there is an issue.
-Reprogramming the AMX touch panel to troubleshoot any feedback issue from the DSP (Digital Signal Processors).
-Continued testing of AMX code feedback.
-Bypassing the codec and routing the Facilitators' desk guest laptop to all destinations to eliminate feedback.
-Testing sound reinforcement in the system during active Teams meetings and troubleshooting the source of feedback.
-Installation of Extron mediaports and wiring to support Teams meetings at the Facilitator's desk.
-Changing the baud rate on the ClearOne to support faster communications to the AMX controller.
All of the programming and troubleshooting were done via an RDT&E laptop with programming software through RDT&E by a third-party service vendor from NIWC in the past. The 3rd party service vendor is not available anymore.The VTC hardware is out of warranty, and NSWCPD is not prepared to replace the equipment. We want someone who can help with troubleshooting the old hardware.
