Description
RiVidium Inc. is seeking a skilled Video Teleconference (VTC) Administrator - Level 2 to support the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) enterprise environment. This role is responsible for the administration, operation, maintenance, and support of enterprise video conferencing and unified communications systems supporting mission-critical operations.
Position Overview
The VTC Administrator will provide hands-on support for enterprise video teleconferencing systems, conference room technologies, and unified communications infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and monitoring VTC sessions, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining VTC endpoints and supporting infrastructure, and ensuring reliable communications services across the organization.
This position requires strong customer service skills, technical troubleshooting expertise, and experience supporting enterprise collaboration platforms within secure environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule, configure, and manage video teleconference (VTC) sessions and meetings.
  • Monitor active VTC conferences to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve VTC, VoIP, and conference room technology issues.
  • Provide on-site conference room support, setup, testing, and operational readiness.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support VTC endpoints and associated equipment.
  • Support codec administration, endpoint management, and conference bridge operations.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, operating procedures, and configuration records.
  • Process and fulfill meeting requests in accordance with organizational requirements.
  • Support VoIP and unified communications systems as required.
  • Ensure VTC systems remain operational, secure, and compliant with applicable DoD and Department of the Navy policies.
  • Collaborate with customers, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve communications issues and improve service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required at contract start.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting enterprise VTC environments, including at least one year of specialized VTC administration experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise VTC systems, conference room technologies, and end-user collaboration services.
  • Experience with:
    • VTC endpoint configuration and administration
    • Codec management
    • Conference bridge administration
    • Enterprise video conferencing technologies
  • Knowledge of:
    • Windows Server administration
    • Linux operating systems
    • VMware virtualization
    • TCP/IP networking
    • VLANs
    • QoS
    • Firewall concepts
  • Familiarity with VoIP systems and unified communications platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all certifications required for Level 2 support.
  • Experience working within regulated IT environments and following established operational procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD, Department of the Navy (DoN), Intelligence Community, or classified environments.

  • Experience supporting 24x7 or mission-critical operational environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based collaboration and communications technologies.

Required / Preferred Certifications
Required or strongly preferred certifications include:
  • CompTIA Security+ CE (preferred to meet DoD 8570/8140 baseline requirements)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Cisco Collaboration Certification
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms Certification
  • Microsoft 365 Certification
  • Cisco WebEx Administration Certification
  • Poly, Cisco, Crestron, or other VTC/AV manufacturer certifications
