HVAC VRF/VRV & VAV SERVICE TECHNICIANS

Austin, Texas | $27–$50+ per hour, based on experience

Building Team Solutions is recruiting experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians for a growing, well-established Austin-area mechanical contractor.

If you have strong commercial HVAC experience and want to expand your VRF/VRV and VAV knowledge, we want to meet you! Experienced VRF/VRV technicians are especially encouraged to apply.


Compensation:

• Commercial HVAC Technicians: Starting at $27 per hour and up

• Experienced VRF/VRV Technicians: Potential to earn $40–$50+ per hour

• Final compensation is based on experience, certifications and technical ability


What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose, service and repair commercial HVAC systems

• Troubleshoot VRF/VRV, VAV, rooftop and split systems

• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections

• Identify electrical, mechanical and controls-related issues

• Communicate professionally with customers and team members

• Complete service documentation accurately and promptly

• Follow company safety procedures and industry standards


What We’re Looking For:

• At least two years of commercial HVAC service experience

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities

• VRF/VRV or VAV experience is highly preferred

• Technicians with solid commercial HVAC experience who want to learn VRF/VRV are also encouraged to apply

• EPA certification preferred

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Dependable, safety-minded and customer focused

• A stable work history and genuine interest in building a long-term career
