Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design a VCF 9-based modern private cloud in accordance with customer technical and business requirements, covering virtual compute, network, storage, automation, and operations platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop additional service offerings for the catalog to address business needs and provide a more public cloud-like experience.
  • Conduct tool rationalization investigations to simplify operations, eliminate redundancy, and identify opportunities for integration among existing tools.
  • Recommend VMware security standards and hardening configurations for VCF.
  • Implement automation and perform custom integrations, including experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) integration.
  • Knowledge of VCF Automation (not just vRealize Automation 8); understand All Apps vs VM Apps using Supervisor cluster.
  • Ensure that all VMs are managed through VCF Automation for governed access to vSphere, improved security, and automated Day 2 services for users.
