Vice President of Development
Social Services Nonprofit in Florida
REMOTE - Tampa, Orlando, Palm Beach, or Miami Areas
Salary Range: $115,000 per year, based on experience
 
Terrific Vice President of Development ("VP") position with a highly regarded nonprofit based in Florida. The VP will join the organization during an exciting period of growth. This includes a six year, $100MM+ campaign to support significant program expansion. The VP will manage a portfolio of high level donors and oversee fundraising teams based in Orlando, Tampa, Palm Beach, and Miami.
 
This role is ideal for a fundraising professional looking to take the next step in their career and drive growth to advance the organization's mission.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement fundraising plans and strategy for the Southern region; implement and oversee moves management for the team
  • Partner with events leadership to develop and implement a multi-year plan for special events
  • Provide the team with the resources and support needed to meet or exceed goals; ensure accountability among team
  • Manage a portfolio of 60+ high level donors and prospects
  • Provide leadership for various fundraising streams, donor stewardship, and donor pipeline development
  • Manage and mentor a team of four direct reports
  • Provide financial reporting for the region
  • Travel as needed within the region
  • Meet in-person with the team as needed to ensure results are achieved
 
Qualifications:
  • Approximately 5-7+ years of relevant fundraising experience, including team management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
