Having helped shape Silicon Valley decades ago, HP continues to invest deeply in innovation across its broad product portfolio to advance how people live and work. We envision a world where technology improves lives everywhere. At HP, great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, at any time-and one idea can change the world. • Lead a team of senior distinguished engineers focused on next-generation technology stacks and architectures across software, data and AI, security, infrastructure, and reliability engineering.

  • Lead technology incubation, with responsibility for building and sustaining incubation environments that support CTO, Software; global business unit; and stakeholder technology innovation initiatives, and for delivering the HP CTO Lab-a new full-stack software and platform sandbox for conducting proofs of concept in partnership with CTO, Software teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners and customers.

  • Lead technology strategy, with responsibility for the roadmap of platform and software stacks, technology and vendor solution evaluation for strategic initiatives, and technology ecosystem monitoring and engagement.

  • Lead technology advocacy, including technology thought leadership, external industry engagement, internal thought leadership, hackathons, Developer Day, and related initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; a Ph.D. is preferred.

  • Current or prior experience operating at the VP level in technology or engineering within an established technology company.

  • 15+ years of experience in technology, engineering, or related areas, including 8+ years leading organizations through senior leadership roles.

  • Proven success attracting top talent and building and leading high-performing teams that drive technology architecture, strategy, and innovation capabilities within large, complex product or engineering environments.

  • Experience driving technology innovation, strategy, and architecture within engineering organizations delivering capabilities for products used by millions of customers and/or large-scale commercial businesses generating more than $100 million in annual revenue.

  • Strong track record of improving operational efficiency and engineering effectiveness through strategic thinking and disciplined execution.
