Vice President of Marketing 
Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Pay Rate: $85/hr (W-2)

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Interim / Fractional Vice President of Marketing to support the Schwarzkopf Professional US division during a maternity leave period. The VP will ensure continuity across innovation initiatives, product launches, specialty retail expansion, and cross-functional go-to-market execution. This role requires strong beauty or prestige consumer brand experience and the ability to lead swiftly within a global/matrixed organization.


Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Launch & Go-to-Market Execution
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution across Sephora, Ulta, Amazon, and professional salon channels.

  • Drive launch calendars, marketing strategy, in-store activation, and sell-in tools.

Innovation & Portfolio Growth
  • Collaborate with global/regional R&D and brand teams to bring U.S.-relevant innovation to life.

  • Expand existing product portfolios into new channels/customers with tailored positioning.

Budget Ownership
  • Oversee multi-million-dollar marketing budgets, campaign phasing, and ROI tracking to support revenue and profitability targets.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Align with Sales, Digital, Education, and Events teams to ensure consistent market execution.

  • Provide strong leadership, direction, and prioritization to internal marketing teams.


Qualifications – Ideal Profile
  • 10+ years of senior marketing leadership within beauty, prestige retail, or consumer brands.
