Join Us As a Vice President of Workforce Accountability & Operational Informatics!

Schedule: Monday-Friday, onsite. Travel is required to both locations - Holyoke and Devens.

The Vice President of Workforce Accountability & Operational Informatics is a senior operational leader responsible for the strategic oversight of staffing performance, workforce metrics, and accountability systems across the organization. This role ensures optimal staffing efficiency, regulatory compliance, and consistent enforcement of attendance and scheduling standards while maintaining a critical balance between staffing efficiency, patient and staff safety, and the delivery of clinically efficacious care.

This leader drives key workforce KPIs, partners with executive leadership, and ensures data-informed decision-making to support both existing operations and new unit development.

As a Vice President of Workforce Accountability & Operational Informatics:

  • You will monitor, analyze, and report on daily, weekly, and monthly workforce KPIs, including:
    • Hours Per Patient Day (HPPD)
    • Overtime utilization
    • Agency usage
    • Vacancy and fill rates
    • Call-out and tardiness rates
    • Schedule adherence
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards to track KPI performance across departments
  • Establish KPI targets and benchmarks aligned with organizational and financial goals
  • Identify trends and implement corrective strategies to improve performance
  • Present KPI performance and workforce insights to executive leadership
  • Design, implement, and maintain staffing grids aligned with patient acuity, census, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure staffing models consistently meet KPI targets for productivity and labor cost efficiency while appropriately balancing efficiency with patient and staff safety and clinically effective care delivery
  • Submit staffing plans and supporting KPI rationale for regulatory and licensing requirements
  • Own and enforce workforce accountability KPIs, including attendance compliance and corrective action timelines
  • Provide direct oversight of scheduling teams to ensure alignment with staffing grids and KPI targets

The VP of Workforce Accountability & Operational Informatics will have the following:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Masters degree strongly preferred (Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field)
  • 5+ years of progressive healthcare operations or workforce management experience
  • Experience in behavioral health or acute care strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing workforce KPIs and staffing analytics
  • Experience with regulatory staffing requirements and survey readiness preferred
  • Deep understanding of staffing models (e.g., HPPD, acuity-based staffing)
  • Ability to drive accountability and enforce standards across leadership levels

Pay Range

Compensation will be determined based on the candidates relevant experience.

$140,000 - $180,000
