Job Description

This is a full-time salaried position with Project Farma, a PerkinElmer company. The successful candidate will reside in one of Project Farma's primary markets and be willing to travel domestically to meet client project requests.

Project Farma's purpose is to improve patient lives by accelerating the delivery of life-changing therapies. We accomplish this through the successful execution of high-quality life sciences projects across the full project lifecycle. Project Farma (PF) team members collaborate with cross-functional teams to build trusted client relationships, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities and applying data-driven insights to support project planning, cost, schedule, and performance management.

This role contributes to organizational success by supporting financial performance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement, while also investing in people through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and professional development. All team members are expected to embody Project Farma's values by being curious, personable, and unselfish, while maintaining a strong commitment to a Patient Focused and People First mindset.

The PMO - VP, Practice Area Leader is a senior executive responsible for the strategic leadership, growth, and operational excellence of Project Farma's Project Management practice and Project Management Office (PMO). This role establishes and advances the firm's project management standards, methodologies, and delivery frameworks while ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across all client engagements. Working closely with the VP of Project Controls, Regional VPs, Principal Consultants, other PALs, and Client Engagement leaders, this role integrates project forecasting, performance management, resource planning, and risk mitigation practices to optimize client outcomes and operational performance.

The VP serves as a visible ambassador for Project Farma internally and externally, strengthening the company's reputation, shaping consulting capabilities, and fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. To maintain deep client connectivity, lead by example, and ensure practical application of best practices, the Vice President is expected to remain actively engaged in client delivery, maintaining partial billability through direct project leadership, executive client engagement, project launches, and strategic delivery oversight. Through this balance of practice leadership and client execution, the VP ensures exceptional value delivery, sustainable business growth, and the continued evolution of Project Farma's project management capabilities.
