Job description

Amazon Ads offers a rich array of advertising solutions that help entertainment advertisers reach Amazon customers across a variety of premium marketing channels -- whether that's Amazon.com, Prime Video Streaming Ads, Fire TV, Twitch, Thursday Night Football, NBA on Prime, Alexa, Amazon DSP, etc. We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including advertising. If you're interested in joining a unique, world-class advertising group with a relentless focus on the customer, you've come to the right place.
This role will be in Amazon's "Theatrical, Home Ent, and Streaming" category

Example accounts in this category include Disney, Universal, Warner Bros, Paramount, Sony, Lionsgate, A24, Neon, Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, FX, ABC, and other premium entertainment brands. We help theatrical advertisers make a splash with high-impact awareness to drive moviegoers to theaters. We help those same studios maximize their transactional video on demand (TVOD) sales when films are released for rental/purchase on Prime Video.

We also help our streaming partners drive awareness and subscriptions.
As a Senior Account Executive in our Entertainment Vertical, you will report to a Sales Manager and use your 7+ year ad sales experience in the entertainment industry to sell digital advertising solutions to studio and streamer media teams and their ad agencies. You will serve as the core owner for US investment. With your broad and long-standing client-side and agency relationships within the entertainment category, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned clients and sell a broad range of advertising solutions that help them achieve their business goals.
Key job responsibilities
Navigate undefined/ambiguous custom entertainment programs externally and internally, earning trust from all partners along the way
Educate and evangelize the needs of your clients to internal partner teams and stakeholders that improve our clients' success with Amazon.
Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our entertainment brand and performance media clients
Grow revenue from existing entertainment advertisers
Operate at "the speed of entertainment."
Prospect and grow new relationships, and foster existing relationships with clients at all levels, including EVP and above levels
Drive deals to closure independently
Strategize longer-term partnership growth outside campaign-by-campaign deal-making
Understand Amazon's display, video, audio, and DSP advertising opportunities and tools to help build relevant advertising solutions for our advertisers
A day in the life
Be prepared to wear different hats

You're not just a Senior Account Executive; expect to sometimes be a Creative Brainstormer and Problem Solver, a Project Manager, an AdTech Specialist, a Data Analyzer, a Strategic Consultant, and a Cross-Functional Liaison.
Lead strategic discussions with entertainment client and agency leads
Align amazon ads capabilities to upcoming releases
Pitch to clients and agencies
Meet with senior external partners
Act as the client's voice internally, evangelizing their needs to internal partner teams and various Amazon publisher groups (IMDb, Amazon.com, Fire TV, Prime Video, Twitch, Live Sports, Alexa, etc)
Craft executive presentations, negotiation investment frameworks
Partner and foster positive relationships with your day to day account managers and creative campaign managers to ensure client campaigns are running smoothly, uncover learnings, etc.
About the team
This team manages advertisers in the studio category space as well as many major DTC streaming advertisers. We love talking about movies and TV shows and helping our studio and streaming partners maximize awareness to the right audiences and generate success.
