Job description

Summary of Position
Lionsgate is accelerating advertising-driven revenue across its portfolio of connected TV on third-party platforms (e.g. Roku, Samsung, Amazon, etc.). This VP will define and scale the monetization operating model - owning strategy, pricing and packaging, ad product input, programmatic and data partnerships, yield, measurement, sales enablement, and operating rigor. Initially, the role may need to be able to lead select sales opportunities as well. As the business scales, this leader will build a small team and operate like an internal startup: move fast, measure, optimize, and scale what works.
Responsibilities
  • Own revenue strategy and maximize monetization across programmatic as well as sponsorship and select direct sales channels.
    • Own a multi-year monetization strategy and 12-18-month roadmap, including partner stack, operating model, and phased business build-out.
    • Define pricing, packaging, forecast assumptions, KPIs, and executive reporting frameworks; identify risks and opportunities.
  • Own the day-to-day relationship with Lionsgate's supply, technology, demand, measurement, and data partners.
    • Build partner business plans, segmentation, benchmarks, and QBR cadence to ensure each relationship is managed against clear commercial goals.
    • Lead recurring commercial and technical touch points with partners and troubleshoot integration, policy, and sales issues.
    • Analyze performance by platform, partner, deal type, and inventory segment to improve revenue, yield, and demand quality, and communicate implications to key internal stakeholders.
    • Identify and prioritize incremental sources of demand and new monetization opportunities, then facilitate their integration into Lionsgate's overall demand portfolio.
    • Track market, buyer, and partner dynamics and serve as the internal expert on ad monetization trends, translating external intelligence into pricing, GTM, and roadmap recommendations.
  • Personally lead select strategic sponsorship, partnership, and early-stage direct revenue opportunities, including channels such as 50 Cent Action.
    • Partner closely with internal and external sales stakeholders to shape compelling sales narratives, packages, and commercial opportunities rather than operate as a standalone quota carrier.
  • Serve as a senior cross-functional monetization lead across Lionsgate, including:
    • Partner with Content Sales, Product/Ad Ops, and Legal on deal terms, platform amendments, consumer data privacy, measurement, and technical integration requirements.
    • Work with the international content sales team to identify opportunities to replicate monetization strategy, partner frameworks, and go-to-market learnings in other territories.
    • Work with marketing and research to develop go-to-market materials, partner narratives, case studies, and sales enablement resources.
  • Build a high-caliber team over time spanning partnerships, operations, and monetization support as the business scales.
    • As the business scales, recruit key talent and establish operating processes, reporting cadence, and ownership structure to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications and Skills
  • 10+ years in CTV/digital advertising, streaming, ad tech, or monetization strategy, preferably with meaningful FAST experience; 6+ years leading cross-functional initiatives and/or teams.
  • Proven track record defining monetization strategy and growing revenue across programmatic, partnership, and direct commercial channels.
  • Deep familiarity with SSPs/Exchanges (e.g., Magnite, PubMatic, Index), DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360), ad servers/SSAI (e.g., FreeWheel, SpringServe), measurement/verification partners, and the broader CTV programmatic ecosystem.
  • Hands-on with data/identity (clean rooms, CDPs, CRM, data onboarding) and measurement (iSpot/VideoAmp/Nielsen), with the ability to translate those capabilities into GTM and commercial priorities.
  • Strong technical fluency across VAST/VMAP, OMID/OMSDK, beacons/pixels, client- vs. server-side ad insertion, SDKs/APIs, and the product sensibility to shape roadmap priorities with partner technical teams.
  • The ideal candidate will be a/an:
    • Entrepreneur / Intrapreneur: excited to build a business from its early days within a dynamic corporate environment.
    • Commercial builder: fluent in pricing, packaging, yield math, partner economics, and contract negotiation.
    • Operator: hands-on from Day 1 and comfortable moving between strategy, partner management, reporting detail, and execution.
    • Influencer: skilled at aligning internal stakeholders and external partners around a common plan and clear priorities.
    • Communicator: tells a crisp story with data and is executive-ready with customers, partners, and internal leadership

Additional Requirements
This position requires five (5) days per week in office.
