The AVP, Provider Recruitment oversees and executes the medical staff development plan and provider recruitment strategies for their division including direct supervision of Sourcing Specialists and Regional Recruiters. Recruitment strategies and efforts should be focused on continual improvement or prioritization of recruitment activities/work along with continual improvement with timeliness of recruiting candidates. Collaborate with divisional, facility and physician services leadership teams to achieve recruiting and retention targets for the division. Assure strong collaboration and coordination with the physician practice operations leadership and hospital division leadership. Lead the physician recruitment team using a balanced approach on recruitment strategies.
How you'll contribute
An AVP Provider Recruitment who excels in this role:
  • Provide strategic oversight for the division Provider Recruitment team ensuring LifePoint metrics and objectives are met.
  • Working collaboratively to assess, improve, and implement best practices to effectively recruit and retain providers in our markets.
  • Oversee all critical recruitments for the division, and maintain continual prioritization of work effort of the entire division recruitment team.
  • Partner with all levels of corporate and hospital leadership and recruitment team in executing strategies and initiatives to recruit and retain qualified providers to practice in LifePoint markets.
  • In coordination and collaboration with division and physician services leadership, develop and implement provider recruitment strategies based on priorities for the division.
  • Manage and mentor Sourcing Specialists and Recruiters to ensure their growth and development. Train and educates recruitment team to ensure a smooth recruitment process inclusive of financial negotiations and closings.
  • Collaborate in the development of the balanced recruitment strategies for providers to ensure market competitiveness and retention. Develop, review, and provide insight on national recruiting and retention trends.
