Vice President, Talent Development

About your role:

As Vice President, Talent Development, you will help build the talent system Fiserv needs for its next stage of growth. You will lead the strategy, design, and execution of enterprise talent development and talent management practices that strengthen leadership capability, improve organizational performance, accelerate skill building, and increase long-term talent readiness.

This role is not about creating more programs. It is about building the capabilities, tools, insights, and operating discipline that help leaders develop strong teams, make better talent decisions, and deliver stronger business outcomes. You will partner with senior leaders, HR partners, regional teams, and business stakeholders to align talent priorities with business strategy. Your work will help build a high-performing culture and support long-term talent readiness across Fiserv.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the talent development strategy, including leadership development, manager effectiveness, succession planning support, and learning experiences aligned to business priorities
  • Partner with executive leaders, Human Resources, and cross-functional stakeholders to assess talent needs and translate them into scalable development programs and initiatives
  • Oversee the design, delivery, and measurement of talent development frameworks, tools, and processes to improve leadership capability and workforce effectiveness
  • Consult with business leaders to clarify priorities and solve business problems that may not require training as the the answer.
  • Establish program goals, success metrics, and reporting to evaluate participation, effectiveness, and business impact, and use data to inform continuous improvement
  • Lead and develop a team by setting clear priorities, building capabilities, and coaching for high-performance
  • Partner with regional talent and learning leads to maintain one global strategy
  • Guide vendor strategy, budget oversight, and resource planning to support efficient delivery of learning and development solutions
  • Drive clear communication, change management, and stakeholder alignment so talent practices are understood and adopted across the organization

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 12+ years of experience in talent development, leadership development, learning and development, organizational development, or human resources strategy within complex organizations
  • 8+ years of experience managing and developing teams
  • 10+ years of experience leading enterprise-wide talent programs and partnering with senior business leaders to align development strategies with organizational goals
  • Experience using talent data, program metrics, and workforce insights to evaluate outcomes and improve development programs
  • Experience building talent development frameworks, leadership programs, and succession-related processes at scale
  • Bachelor's degree

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience leading talent strategy in a financial services, payments, or technology environment
  • Experience with human capital management systems, learning management systems, and talent analytics platforms
  • Experience facilitating executive-level development discussions and leadership programs
  • Experience supporting global talent practices with regional execution across multiple markets.
  • Master's degree in a related field

How you'll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Travel:This role requires occasional travel (up to 20%).

Salary Range

$190,000.00 - $316,800.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
