JOB SUMMARY
This role leads cross-functional strategic projects across the Operations organization, combining Lean Six Sigma discipline with strong project management to deliver measurable business results. The position is responsible for translating business priorities into structured initiatives that improve service, cost, quality, compliance, and ways of working across functions and sites. Acting as both a change leader and execution partner, this role aligns stakeholders, drives process optimization, establishes governance and control plans, and ensures projects move from idea to sustainable implementation. The role also helps build organizational capability by embedding continuous improvement tools, standard methodologies, and data-driven decision making into day-to-day operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • You will lead cross-functional strategic projects across the Operations organization from initiation through implementation, including scope definition, workplan development, milestone management, risk mitigation, and sustainment planning.
  • You will partner with senior leaders and functional teams to identify business needs, prioritize opportunities, and translate strategic goals into structured project roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
  • You will use Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to map current and future-state processes, identify root causes, reduce waste, improve flow, and implement scalable solutions.
  • You will facilitate cross-functional workshops, governance forums, and decision-making sessions to align stakeholders on requirements, roles and responsibilities, key dependencies, and implementation plans.
  • You will drive improvements in ways of working by standardizing templates, governance routines, documentation practices, and project controls across teams.
  • You will establish and monitor project KPIs, control plans, and performance reporting to ensure visibility to risks, progress, benefits realization, and sustainability of implemented changes.
  • You will serve as a change agent by influencing without direct authority, navigating ambiguity, and building commitment across diverse stakeholder groups within Operations and partner functions.
  • You will support compliance, governance, and operational readiness initiatives by ensuring processes, tools, and decision frameworks are clearly defined and adopted.
  • You will coach teams in project management and continuous improvement practices, helping strengthen internal capability and a culture of problem solving.
  • You will be responsible for leading initiatives that deliver measurable business value through cost savings, cost avoidance, service improvements, productivity gains, and risk reduction.
  • You will support business case development, benefit tracking, and post-implementation sustainment to ensure project value is realized.
  • You may manage project-related budgets, external support, or resourcing aligned to approved priorities.
  • You will perform other duties and strategic initiative support as assigned.

WHO YOU ARE
  • You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations, supply chain, or a related field.
  • You have 4-6 years of experience leading cross-functional projects, continuous improvement initiatives, or operational transformation programs in a complex business environment.
  • You have a Lean Six Sigma certification; Black Belt strongly preferred.
  • You have strong project management skills, including scoping, roadmap development, milestone planning, stakeholder management, and execution tracking.
  • You have demonstrated experience facilitating process mapping, root cause analysis, workshop leadership, and change management across functions.
  • You have the ability to influence across organizational levels and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • You have strong analytical skills with experience using data to identify opportunities, prioritize actions, and measure impact.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complexity into clear actions for diverse audiences.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and project or process management tools; experience with reporting dashboards, trackers, and structured documentation practices preferred.

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
