Brief Summary

Title: Senior Vice President, Government Affairs

You'll Report To:ย Chief Executive Officer

American Integrity Insurance Group is seeking an accomplished, highly strategic, and relationship-driven Senior Vice President of Government Affairs to lead and elevate the companyโ€™s engagement with legislative, regulatory, industry, and public policy stakeholders.

This executive leader will serve as a strategic extension of the CEO and executive leadership team in helping navigate the intersection of insurance markets, public policy, consumer protection, catastrophe resilience, and long-term market sustainability.

The SVP of Government Affairs will help position American Integrity as a respected and constructive voice in shaping the future of property insurance public policy while advancing the companyโ€™s long-term strategic objectives across Florida and future operating states.

This role is expected to help the company anticipate change โ€” not simply react to it.

This position will serve as a member of the Companyโ€™s senior executive leadership team and is expected to operate as a highly trusted advisor within the organization.


What You'll Do
  • Lead the companyโ€™s overall government affairs and public policy strategy.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with legislators, regulators, industry associations, governmental leaders, and key external stakeholders.
  • Monitor, analyze, and influence legislative and regulatory developments impacting the property insurance industry.
  • Coordinate strategic advocacy efforts related to insurance reform, market stabilization, catastrophe resilience, litigation reform, claims environment modernization, and consumer protection.
  • Advise executive leadership on emerging political, legislative, regulatory, governmental, and reputational risks affecting the organization.
  • Partner with communications leadership regarding external messaging and positioning on legislative, regulatory, and catastrophe-related issues.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, policy forums, trade associations, and governmental meetings.
  • Lead or help shape coalitions designed to advance sustainable insurance market reforms and long-term industry stability.
  • Position American Integrity as a solutions-oriented market leader and constructive participant in public policy discussions.
  • Assist executive leadership during catastrophe events involving regulatory coordination, governmental communications, emergency declarations, market stabilization discussions, and public stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate with Investor Relations and executive leadership regarding legislative or regulatory developments that may impact investor perception, rating agency confidence, or enterprise value.
  • Support the companyโ€™s strategic expansion into current and future operating states.
  • Help build and lead a scalable government affairs function as the company continues to grow.

  • 10+ years of senior-level experience in government affairs, public policy, insurance regulation, legislative affairs, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of the Florida property insurance market and regulatory environment strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, diplomacy, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in highly visible, fast-moving, and politically sensitive environments.

Schedule:ย 8:30-5:30, Monday-Friday. #LI-Onsite

Working Conditions:ย Normal business office environment.ย  Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone.ย  The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery or communicate with coworkers.

Travel:ย Occasional travel required, including agency visits, conferences, and company meetings.ย
