Greens is looking for an accomplished hospitality leader to oversee performance across a portfolio of managed hotels. The Regional Director of Operations (Hotels) is the primary link between corporate leadership and each property's General Manager, driving financial results, guest and associate satisfaction, and brand standards across every hotel in the region. This is a high-visibility role for a proven operator who thrives on accountability, travels comfortably, and knows how to turn a business plan into consistent, measurable results across multiple properties.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive hotel leadership experience.
  • At least 3–5 years of multi-property leadership experience as an Area Director of Operations or Regional Director of Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated success managing operating budgets, RevPAR performance, and brand quality standards across multiple hotels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region.
Key responsibilities
  • Ensure every Greens hotel maximizes the guest and associate experience.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce compliance with Greens and brand operating policies and procedures.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop General Managers — setting goals, holding them accountable, and delivering timely feedback, recognition, and rewards.
  • Hold General Managers accountable for engaging and motivating associates while delivering strong financial, guest, and associate satisfaction results.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting and record-keeping at both the property and corporate level.
  • Lead with integrity, take ownership of personal and team performance, communicate effectively, and foster a positive, collaborative culture that upholds Greens policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
Primary functions
  • Lead the annual business planning process for each hotel, partnering closely with General Managers and corporate leadership.
  • Drive implementation of each hotel's Greens-approved business plan.
  • Manage operations within the Greens-approved budget for every property in the portfolio.
  • Maintain a sharp, current understanding of the competitive landscape and broader industry trends.
  • Monitor operating results against budget, sister-property performance, and industry benchmarks.
Day-to-day duties
  • Submit a weekly end-of-week activity and accomplishments summary to the VP of Hotel Operations, copying corporate leadership.
  • Review and respond promptly to daily correspondence from General Managers.
  • Hold daily one-on-one calls with each General Manager to review flash reports, activities, and performance outcomes.
  • Facilitate monthly meetings with department leaders and General Managers to review results, progress, and accountability.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to verify compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Deliver regular, timely performance reviews for each General Manager.
Performance metrics tracked
  • Brand and Greens quality assurance scores
  • RevPAR Index
  • Net Operating Income (NOI)
  • Record-keeping and reporting accuracy
  • Supply storage, ordering, and PAR maintenance protocols
  • Brand and Greens guest satisfaction scores
Core competencies
  • Takes ownership and accountability for team results.
  • Presents a polished, professional image.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Communicates clearly and listens actively.
  • Leads with empathy and patience.
  • Generous with praise; handles criticism with discretion.
  • Consistent, dependable, and even-keeled under pressure.
  • Rational, prudent, and practical in decision-making.
