A VP/GM (Vice President/General Manager) is responsible for both setting the strategic direction of a business unit and overseeing its daily operations. This dual focus requires the VP/GM to allocate time between high-level planning—such as market analysis, goal setting, and stakeholder communication—and hands-on management tasks like team leadership, performance monitoring, and problem-solving. Successful VP/GMs foster collaboration across departments, ensuring alignment with company objectives while remaining accessible to address operational challenges. Balancing these responsibilities is key to driving growth and maintaining operational excellence.

Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills set top performers apart in this role.
