Overview

The Vice President of Account Management is a leader who owns a large client relationship, fostering connections across several client teams. Role includes being the key point of contact and leader of client relationships, and includes intimate understanding of the client's business, competition, organization, people, and politics. This individual is also responsible for identifying and spearheading organic growth opportunities to expand remit with existing clients. A Vice President leads, manages, and mentors junior team members. This role may also include contributing to net new business opportunities for the agency.

Responsibilities
  • Drive growth initiatives
    • Uncover opportunities and partner with team leads to develop thought leadership and recommendations to drive organic growth
    • Monitor Client and category news to surface additional updates/impacts and develop proactive recommendations
    • Develop and execute against client mapping and relationship strategy
  • Oversee health of the business
    • Collaborate with project management team on statement of work, scope, proposal and estimate development
    • Deliver scopes to Client and position agency proposal to management
    • Manage internal revenue forecasting with Finance partners, including Salesforce platform maintenance
  • Coach cross-discipline team towards quality work
    • Partner with Strategy leads to develop creative briefs
    • Provide strategic POV about work from inception to implementation to ensure it delivers on strategy; responsible for all end delivery to Clients
    • Create and lead compelling client presentations
    • Field Client feedback and collaborate with teams to solution
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant digital experience, which can include brand management, marketing, advertising, or account management; agency experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in management and team development.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent storytelling and the ability to clearly articulate and merchandise ideas and results of programs for a wide range of audiences, up to C-level.
  • Able to work with broad spectrum of people across levels with multiple mindsets and managing clients across multiple levels; diplomatic in providing strong points of view and making decisions.
  • Self-starter, skilled in paving their own path, with ability to inspire teams and great work.
