Job description

Job Title: Field Installation CoordinatorJob Description

The Installation Coordinator is part of the Site Project Management Team responsible for installing equipment at customer facilities. The role involves coordinating between Site Project Teams, Remote Management, and the customer to facilitate installation work. Responsibilities include roles such as material planner, mechanical/electrical worker or supervisor, overall floor coordinator, team leader, and QAQC leader.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor scheduling, procedures, and performance of installation work at the customer’s facility, recommending improvements and modifications as necessary.
  • Oversee the implementation and training of approved control systems and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Installation Site Manager and Site Management Team to analyze errors and develop solutions.
  • Assist the Site Manager in coordinating and monitoring task execution and progress.
  • Develop installation, qualification, and repair procedures for equipment and prepare procedures based on individual skills and experience.
  • Coordinate installation personnel to ensure quality of work meets standards and provide training as appropriate.
  • Administer day-to-day operations at the customer’s facility.
  • Receive and oversee the installation of parts for equipment in the customer’s facility.
  • Monitor, guide, and train contractor resources and vendors for efficient operations.
  • Compile and complete a Punch list to formally complete a project with installation subcontractors.
  • Supervise and coordinate material movement, electrical and mechanical contractors, and QAQC work based on project needs.
  • Attend daily in-field whiteboard meetings.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of equipment install coordination within a manufacturing environment.
  • Natural leadership skills confirmed through references, military background, or leading a project.
  • 2+ years of mechanical hands-on troubleshooting and/or installing equipment.
  • 1+ year of basic electrical testing with multimeters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with mechanical equipment, project coordination, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment, pre-wiring, and junction boxes.
  • Proficiency in basic electrical testing, installation, and blueprint reading.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor processes, logistics, schematics, QA/QC, budgeting, planning, and coordination.
  • Experience with AC/DC motors, conveyors, cranes, maintenance repair, gearboxes, PLCs, Allen-Bradley, and Mitsubishi systems.
Work Environment

The position is based on-site at the TSMC site in North Phoenix. It involves working in a cleanroom environment requiring a full cleanroom suit, with no travel required for the first year and up to 80% travel within the USA afterwards. The work environment is fast-paced, team-oriented, with straightforward and supportive leadership. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
