The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Electronics Engineer-Advanced Communication/Data Link Engineer (NH-0855-04) to work for the Joint Strike Fighter Program Executive Office (JSF/JPEO) in either Arlington, VA, or at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

Qualifications/Requirements:
In this position, you will serve as the principal Communication and Datalink Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the F-35 Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT), providing comprehensive technical oversight, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations for all Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) systems.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance and be eligible for Special Access Programs.
This position requires occasional travel.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a relevant technical discipline is required. A BS or MS in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering is desired.
Key Skills Experience:
Analyze design studies and system performance for Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) communication systems to meet mission needs.
Develop and refine performance requirements for Communication, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) datalink subsystems.
Communicate program status and planning to diverse stakeholders, including leadership, program offices, and U.S. Services.
Experience with CNI, BLOS, Comms/Datalink, and aircraft navigation technologies is required.
