Job Title: General Production Worker 2nd shift $26hr+

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker in the rubber cutting department where you will load machinery with rubber, package rubber additives into bags or boxes, and work on an assembly line packaging finished products. This role involves manual lifting of up to 60lbs, utilizing lifting equipment, wrapping pallets of finished products, and using pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

  • Load machinery with rubber in the rubber cutting department.
  • Package rubber additives into bags and boxes.
  • Work on an assembly line packaging finished products.
  • Lift up to 60lbs of product manually and use lifting equipment as needed.
  • Wrap pallets of finished products and operate pallet jacks.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in machine operation within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs semi-frequently.
  • Capability to remain on feet for an entire 8-hour shift.
  • Comfortable working with chemicals.
  • Ability to wear a respirator/hazmat suit for the entirety of the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with tools such as tow motors, forklifts, and packaging machinery.
  • Experience in roles such as Blending, Manufacturing Operator, Production Operator, Chemical Operator, and Batch Ticket handling.
  • Military experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.05 - $25.05/hr.
