Volunteer Performance Coaching Jobs (NOW HIRING)

JOB GOAL:

To provide an enjoyable and safe sporting experience for athletes, while they learn individual and team games skills, sportsmanship and fair play.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. NFHS- Concussion Course, Fundamentals of Coaching Course, and Bullying, Hazing & Inappropriate Behaviors Course: https://nfhslearn.com/courses
3. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card: https://www.azdps.gov/services/public/fingerprint
4. Must pass a background clearance.
5. Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Sport season plus possible playoff games and camps/clinics.

REPORTS TO:  Athletic Director

EVALUATION:  Completed at the end of season by Athletic Director

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Maintain high expectations for student athletic skill development
• Reinforce school-wide rules and expectations
• Collaborate closely with fellow coaches and Athletic Director
• Differentiate instruction effectively to meet the individual needs of students
• Participate actively in professional development
• Communicate effectively with parents
• Build strong relationships with students, teachers and families
