Job description

Overview

Array Digital Infrastructure is a leading owner and operator of wireless communications infrastructure. In this role, you'll be supporting a company that specializes in the acquisition, development, and management of tower assets that enable critical connectivity. You'll gain exposure to how Array partners with major wireless carriers and infrastructure users to deliver reliable, scalable network coverage. Working at the intersection of real estate and telecommunications, you'll see firsthand how the company optimizes its portfolio of tower sites to meet the growing demand for mobile data and next-generation connectivity.

As a Legal Intern, you will support a fast-paced, in-house legal team and gain hands-on experience across a variety of areas. Your work will include exposure to real estate matters, corporate governance, business licensing and compliance, and other projects as needed. This role is ideal if you have an interest in transactional law, real estate, and corporate practices, and are eager to learn how legal functions operate within a growing infrastructure company.

Through this internship, you will gain:

  • Exposure to in-house legal operations within a growing tower infrastructure company
  • Hands-on experience in real estate transactions and corporate compliance

In this internship, you are expected to work 30+ hours per week during the summer, with the opportunity to continue during the school year for 15-20 hours per week. Your work will take place during core business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), with flexibility based on your academic schedule. Your hours may vary depending on the semester and your school commitments, and you'll benefit from a flexible environment that prioritizes your education.

This position will be hybrid based out of our headquarters located in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with real estate matters, including:
    • Reviewing leases, purchase agreements, easements, and related documents
    • Supporting due diligence for acquisitions and development projects
    • Organizing and maintaining real estate records and closing checklists
  • Support corporate and governance activities, including:
    • Preparing and maintaining corporate records and entity documentation
    • Assisting with board and committee materials
    • Conducting basic legal research on corporate matters
  • Assist with business licenses and regulatory compliance, including:
    • Tracking and renewing business licenses across jurisdictions
    • Coordinating filings with local, state, and federal agencies
    • Maintaining compliance databases and calendars
  • Conduct legal research and prepare summaries on a variety of topics
  • Assist with contract review and administrative legal tasks as needed
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited law school
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Pay Transparency: The pay range listed for this position represents the low and high end of the base compensation range. However, the base pay rate offered for this position is expected to be $20.00 per hour. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation.
