Description
I) Job Purpose
MHMR's Volunteer Development Department offers a wide array of volunteer opportunities to meet the growing demand for agency supports and services.
MHMR volunteers serve in many ways, from providing administrative support to working in one of the many clinics located in Tarrant County.
This is a volunteer position and not a paid position.
II) Essential Functions
  1. Follow and complete duties as assigned.
  2. Complete applicable training requirements to participate in volunteer assignments.

III) Knowledge of Laws, Policies/Procedures, Skills, Education and Abilities
  • Effective organizational, time management, and communication skills.

IV) Internal & External Customer Service
This position requires extensive internal (team members, agency personnel) and external contacts. The position will accomplish this with above average written and oral skills.
Must demonstrate compassion, trauma-informed care, and safety practices including suicide safe care
V) Travel
This position requires minimal local travel in personal vehicle. This position may require travel to agency program sites.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Valid Driver's License, Student Visa, or Green Card
  • Must pass a criminal background history check
  • Must pass a drug and TB screening
