Description Volunteer Opportunities at the Palm Beach County Clerk's Office. Have you been looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity to give back to your community in your spare time. If the answer is yes, we have some awesome opportunities for you to consider.

Why is the Clerk's office so important to our community. Our office supports Palm Beach County's criminal, civil and juvenile courts. We process, record and file court documents such as lawsuits, traffic tickets, divorce agreements, wills, domestic violence petitions and tenant evictions.

The Clerk is also your public trustee, responsible for safeguarding public records and taxpayer money. Why join our office as a volunteer. - Develop new skills or add some great experience to you resume.

Our office operates out of 7 different locations throughout Palm Beach County, including: - West Palm Beach - Delray Beach - Belle Glade - Royal Palm Beach - Gun Club (West Palm Beach) - Palm Beach Gardens - Governmental Center - West Palm Beach (Finance & Administration) Be sure to let us know your preferred location to volunteer from when completing your application. Examples of Essential Functions - Clerical duties such as filing, scanning, answering telephones etc.

- Auditing and/ or performing quality control duties. - Provides information, assistance, and services to the general public, employees, and others in person, by telephone or by email. - Duties may include other tasks unique to the individual's skills, with management approval.

Training will be provided to volunteers. Please note Volunteer opportunities are performed onsite and are not eligible for remote opportunities. Typical Qualifications - Must be at least 18 years of age.
